Rachel Elaine Crafton, age 79, of Marble Falls, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 9, 2021. She was born September 4, 1942, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Earnest Orville and Gwendolyn Annette (Lane) Allman. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Joe Crafton; one sister, Nancy Vanderhorst; and one brother, William Arthur Allman.
Rachel enjoyed crocheting, gardening, sketching, journaling, and reading her Bible. Her love for writing resulted in publishing. She was in the nursing field for several years selflessly taking care of others. She had a special love for her Hummingbirds. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Rachel is survived by her loving spouse, Clarence Crafton; three sons, Rick Weltch and wife Kathy, Mark Weltch, and Mike Crafton and wife Emmilee; two daughters, Laura Moyer and husband Louis and Dixie Crafton; two sisters, Maeline Johnson and husband Dewayne and Sharon Petary; 18 grandchildren 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at RPM Church, Highway 7 South, Harrison, Arkansas.
The funeral Service was Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at RPM Church, with Denny Waters officiating.
The burial was Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Gaither Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rick Weltch Mike Crafton Travis Crafton Evan Jr. Miller Andy Weltch Kyle Mason
