Shirley was such a wonderful woman. She was a very good friend to our family when I was growing up and even after we move to Florida. She was a good wife and mother and she will truly be missed.

The Jennings were like a second family to me (Jack) growing up. Ms. Shirley always understood what "trouble" David and I would find ourselves in and would take our sides (somewhat) running interference between us and Lamar until even he would cave. What a wonderful lady. Proud of her family and friends, always willing to give or lend a hand. Thank you for bearing with and helping to raise me. I have tried and will strive to continue to live the life we all know you would want us to live. Love you and will miss you, but you will live with us forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with this family and friends. The few times that I was honored to be around Shirley , I loved every minute of it. She was just a sweet lady and I thought a lot of her. I met her through Hal Fancher I was his girlfriend. Now Shirley and Hal are rejoicing together. Just know that you guys touched my life when I was able to meet Shirley and her husband. Just a wonderful and beautiful people to know and be around. Lots of prayers.
