Phillip Carroll McDougle, age 75, died on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at his home in Oneida, Arkansas.
He was born August 12, 1946, to Wilmore McDougle and Amie Street McDougle in Oneida, Arkansas.
Carroll was a life-long resident of Phillips County and a retired farmer.
He is preceded in death by his father, Wilmore McDougle, his mother, Amie Street McDougle, and siblings, Geraldine McDougle Meeks, Earline McDougle Spencer Pyle, Henry Clay (H.C.) McDougle, Robert William (Billy) McDougle, John Orlee (J.O.) McDougle, and Wayne Archie McDougle.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Carroll McDougle will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Fred Garrison will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers are Rickey Davidson and Jeff (Sonny) Smith.
Service will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
Howard and I are so sorry to hear of Carroll's passing. I went to school with him, and Howard knew him from Oneida. We had a nice visit with him last year, it was the first time I had seen him in years. Our thoughts and prayers are with all his family.
