Billie Ruth Young, 83, of West Memphis, Arkansas, passed away at her home, on Sunday, September 5, 2021. She was born January 14, 1938, to Bill Farmer and Beatrice Walker.
Billie loved her dog with all her heart. She collected dolls and had a passion for music. Billie was a traveler in her youth, excited to go wherever she could. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church of West Memphis, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Young; her brother, Richard F. Farmer; and her sisters, Paulene Fare and Linda Hood. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sisters, Joy Harrell (James) of Proctor, Arkansas and Shirley Lambert (Jesse) of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

I loved Miss Billie. She was a very special lady. Me and Pam stayed with her when we were in West Memphis not to long after we were married. She and Wayne were very good to us. May God Bless Billie. I was so glad to be part of her homecoming . May God be with sisters Joy and Shirley. Uncle James and Michael Harrell did so much to help Billie. God bless them.
