Deborah Ann McCollum, 70, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at St. Bernards Hospital. She was born June 24, 1951 in Jonesboro to Walter and Charlene (Putt) Ray. She was a store manager for Sears for many years. She was the owner of Darcy Lynn's Restaurant in Chicago until retirement. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James C. McCollum; and two brothers, Roger Ray and Barry Ray.
Survivors include her two sons, Richard Burgess and Robert ( Angela) Burgess; a daughter, Darcy Linn; grandchildren, Ashlynn Dacus, Paiton Burgess, Ricky Burgess and Emily Burgess; and many other beloved friends and family.
Chapel services will be 11 am Monday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Kenneth Doke officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Visitation will precede the service and begin at 10 am.
