I was Walter's Army recruiter while working in Elgin. Walter only had a 9th grade education but got almost a perfect score on his enlistment exam. In 10 years as recruiter I only afew get that high. I really like Harold an often though of him. He slept on my couch the night before he went into the Army. Harold had a hard life as a young man, after his training he stopped in to see me. Unlike most recruits his comet was he had plenty food a clean be. He appreciated the little things in life. I'm said that he is gone.
Although we never got to meet in person, I feel like I know Harold through Alex and Denise. He was a sweet, kind, extremely intelligent human being with lots of gifts. Harold, enjoy your new body and your new heavenly home!!!!!
