Robert E. Bailey, 66, of Clarksville, Arkansas, passed away August 29, 2021, in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was born March 11, 1955, in Monroe, Louisiana, to his parents J. L. (Jake) and Barbara Marie (Breed) Bailey. Robert served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and he was a Master Mason. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, listening to audio books. He was a good parent, great husband, good friend, papaw, brother, and uncle.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents J. L. (Jake) and Barbara Marie (Breed) Bailey; one brother Max Bailey; one sister Polly Poynter; one nephew Johnathan Nelson; mother-in-law Margaret Weinberg; and brother-in-law John Weinberg.
He is survived by his wife Nancy (Weinberg) Bailey of Clarksville, Arkansas; three sons Jason (Hannah) Bailey of Bastrop, Louisiana; Logan Bailey of Clarksville, Arkansas; and David (Lindy) Hatchett, JR. of Clarksville, Arkansas; two daughters Somer Bailey of West Monroe, Louisiana; and Kendra (T. W.) Thompson of Cabot, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; one brother Jess Lee (Kay) Bailey of Clarksville, Arkansas; one sister Sarah (Tony) Nelson of Bastrop, Louisiana; one sister-in-law Emily Bailey of New Braunfels, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Chipper West and Jess Bailey officiating.
