Marjorie Mae Stark

of Conway, AR

November 20, 1931 - August 26, 2021

Marjorie Mae Stark, 89, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on August 26, 2021. She was born in Kings Prairie, Missouri to the late Orville and Mabel Latshaw on November 20, 1931. She was a volunteer at AETN for 20 years, a proud secretary of AARP when it began, and loved being involved with the Faulkner County Council on Aging here in Conway. She lived a very active life always making friends and touching the hearts of many. Throughout her last few years she was able to go on several amazing trips with her dear friend, Nancy Allison. Marjorie loved spending time with her family especially her great grandchildren Callie, Camryn, and Layne.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Steven Ray (Holly) Stark of Vilonia and her daughter Sherry (Stephen) Matthews of Conway, grandchildren Carrie (Charles) Garrett and Jesse (Chrystal) Stark, ten great grandchildren, and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years, Raymond V. Stark, six siblings Leo, Lewis, Jean, James, John, and Mary, daughter Linda Lewis, and grandson Nathan Lewis.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to AETN or Faulkner County Council on Aging.

A Memorial Visitation will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 5:00-7:00PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

Sherrie, words don't come fast enough and they really don't say what I am thinking. I enjoyed every minute of Marge and my time together and I will miss that "once in a while" comment that slyly comes up, It has been my pleasure to have such a friend and she will be missed. All my love to you and family and deepest sympathy.

I recently had the privilege of eating lunch at Aunt Margie's house where she offered us sweet tea or wine for lunch. Of course, I choose peach wine to drink with her! We had such a delightful visit that day. A real memory maker. Her hugs are priceless.

I didn't know Marge Stark well. But what I do know is that she raised a loving, sensitive, devoted daughter who put her heart and soul into caring for her mom for many years. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sherry and her family as they journey through this difficult time

Marge was literally one of my all time favorite people! She was such a sweet lady and always made people smile when she was around. She was my ''adopted'' grandmother and I loved her dearly. I will never forget her. She will forever be in my thoughts and hold a very special place in my heart. See you in heaven Marge!
