Nick was a very good friend and a great shipmate. When Nick came through A1W Nuclear Prototype in Idaho Falls, ID, as a trainee, I recognized what a talent he was. I arranged to pick him up on staff and we served together for the rest of my tour of duty. He was not only a talented operator, but he was a great person and a very good friend. I just wish I could have gotten over to ANO to see him again. Nick was one of those people who you work with and you never forget them because of their integrity and class and what a great friend they were. Just know that the world was a better place because Nick was part of it and he will be missed greatly. Donna, know that you and your family are in our prayers. Chuck Payne, MM1/ELT USN

Nick was a grand human being, dedicated worker and was everyone’s friend. It’s a truly sad day to see Nick pass on. He loved life, family and friends. I feel in my heart he is in the presence of Jesus Christ on the other side smiling in the love he provides. My condolences, prayers and sadness are with the family and all of his collective friends he has made over the years. Nick and I worked many years together at Clinton Power Station in central Illinois where he was an important team member for his duration there. Nick, Rest In Peace my brother, till we meet again when it’s my turn to leave this earth. I’m sad to know you’ve passed but deep down know your in the presence of the Lord which is a much better place than we are in now, and that my friend makes me smile for you.
Friends Always

Nick,
Great Man!
Nick was hard working, reliable, cared about others and was such a joy to work with!
My story with Nick was he ran the in processing traning program in 2012 for the largest outage in the world. Did it well, took great ownership and was a mark of excellence. Every time i saw after that, I thought what a great man!
He will be missed and I left way too soon! Kevin
