Dosha Trammell Gilbert, 90, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away at her home on August 22, 2021. Dosha was born to the late Doss D. and Lucy (Taylor) Trammell on September 27, 1930 in Oak Grove, Arkansas, the youngest of 14 children. Dosha was a member of the Vine Avenue Baptist Church and worked at the Blanchard Shirt Factory for many years, in addition to the shirt factory she was a homemaker who loved music. She could play just about any instrument she picked up, but really enjoyed playing the piano. In addition to music she loved to sing, the Arkansas Razorbacks and hunting arrowheads. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and was a mother and a grandmother to many people she ''adopted'' into her family. Dosha will be greatly missed by her loving family, friends, and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Dosha is survived by her husband of 74 years, Huey Gilbert; two sons, Hugh Gary Gilbert and Russell Deon Gilbert; three daughters, Brenda Joyce Wilson, Patty Ann Branscum, and Teresa Lynn Weatherford; twelve grandchildren, Cathy Ramsey, Chrissie Linville, Linda Vickers, Kalah Deitrick, Kassie McIntare, Angela Campagna, Jay Weatherford, Doss Weatherford, Timber Gilbert, Cheyenne Gilbert, Angelina Neldon, and Nick Neldon; sixteen great-grandchildren, Eli Gibson, Mabry Deitrick, Kiley Deitrick, Sophi Deitrick, Parrish McIntare, Lily McIntare, Heather Pollard, Rachel Ramsey, Elizabeth Croney, Gabrielle Croney, Katie Croney, Kimberly McIntare, Cassidy Linville, Bella Campagna, Liam David Weatherford, and Addison Miller; four great-great grandchildren, and a host of many extended family and friends.
Dosha was preceded in death by her parents, Doss D. and Lucy (Taylor) Trammell; one grandson, Neal Eugene Branscum, and thirteen brothers and sisters.
Visitation for Dosha is Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Vine Avenue Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00PM with Brothers Roy Landers and Gary Don Fletcher officiating. Per Dosha's request, she will be cremated and inurned at Oak Grove Cemetery in Newnata, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Tony Trammell, Craig Miller, Brandon McIntare, Chris Deitrick, Brandon Trammell, and Jim Price. Honorary pallbearers are Eli Gibson, Jay Weatherford, Doss Weatherford, James Ramsey, Pete Allison, Donald Trammell, Scotty Branscum, Roger Wilson, Clinton Trammell, and Larry Trammell.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

Kathleen and I were saddened to hear of Aunt Dosha's passing. She always treated us with such kindness and love and we will miss that. She had such a warm heart.
