Larry Dennis Harris, age 74, of Timbo, died Friday August 20, 2021 at the Blossoms of Mountain View. He was born January 26, 1947 to Sigal Thomas Harris and Erma Richardson Harris.
Larry was a member of The Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church.

Larry spent his entire life working on the family farm assisting his father and mother. Following the passing of his father in 1992, Larry was the primary caretaker and provided excellent care for his mother until her death in 2005.
He overcame many obstacles in life, and although challenged, learned to become extremely proficient at repairing and overhauling small engines. He took extreme pride in being able to repair equipment for his neighbors.
He was very kind hearted and often gave money to those who he felt were in need. When he ran out of money helping others, that often meant a call to his brother to let him know he had run out of money this week and could use a little help.

He had many friends throughout the county and enjoyed visiting with them as often as possible.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Harris, Sister-in-law, Ann Harris, Brother-in-law, Jimmy Deatherage, Niece, Tamara Deatherage and nephew, Tommy Deatherage.
Survivors include one brother, Benny (LaVel) Harris of Russellville, two sisters, Ann (David) Campbell and Glenda Deatherage, both of Timbo.

Larry was the adored Uncle of six nephews and four nieces, most of whom he taught to drive in the hayfield behind the home. He is survived by Russell Harris, Richard Harris, John Harris, Daryl Campbell, Wesley Campbell, Allisa Mathews, Serena Harris and Dawn LeBleu. Every child should be fortunate enough to have an Uncle Larry.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 23, 2021 at Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church in Timbo. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM preceding the service. Brother Stan Sutterfield and Brother David Campbell will officiate. Burial in Alco Cemetery.
