Johnnie Kay Gentry, 72, of Sherwood, passed away August 17, 2021.

She retired from Arkansas Department of Corrections.

Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Gentry, her parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Survived by son Danny Paul Hankins II; her sister, Barbara Thomasson of White Hall; and her best friend, Carolyn Evans of Little Rock. She was loved and will be missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 28, at 2:00 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, North Little Rock.
