of Deer, AR
July 3, 1926 - August 14, 2021
Faye Williams, age 95, of Deer, passed peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 14, 2021. She was born on July 3, 1926, at Deer, the daughter of Ziba and Martha (Davis) Barber. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gus Williams; her daughter, Kathy (Williams) Larimer; her sons, Jearl and Gary Williams; her grandsons, Jeffrey Williams and Shawn Anglin; and also numerous infant great-grandchildren.
Faye was a hardworking homemaker who raised six boys and three girls to have strong morals and deep respect and love for others. They worked together to care for their mother in her home for the last 8 years. Everyone who entered her home was greeted with a smile and a hug. The Williams home has been host to many, many large dinner gatherings over the years for family and friends. Faye loved to garden, sew, and quilt all the years she was able. She also loved gospel music and western movies.
A granddaughter described Faye perfectly when she penned these words, "Grandma Faye was small in stature but strong and feisty. She often talked softly, but told you just what she thought." Another remarked, "She knew what she liked, knew what she didn't like, and wasn't afraid to speak up about it. Her walls were covered in photos of everyone making up the branches of her large family tree."
Faye is survived by her children and their spouses, Jerry and Nola Williams of Ozone, Larry Williams of Harrison, Ruth and Leon Sexton of Pelsor, Virginia Basinger of Clarksville, Ricky and Linda Williams of Harrison, and Edward and Donna Williams of Deer; twenty-three grandchildren and step-grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
The service was a private family graveside due to COVID-19.
Pallbearers were Dennis, David, Johnny, Billy and Dale Williams, and Eric Walters.
Honorary pallbearers were grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I love you granny with all my heart. You are who I looked up to all my life. You are the most beautiful, loving, caring, hard working lady i have ever known.
