Novalee Cotton, 57, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Fort Smith.

She was born on December 16, 1963 in Richmond, Indiana to her parents, Ralph D. Brooks and Helen Louise (Dooley) Brooks. Novalee worked as a waitress for various places and was a member of the First Christian Church of Paris. She loved to play the piano and guitar and to sing with her sister.

She is preceded in death by her parents mentioned above and one great grandchild.

Novalee is survived by her son, Daniel Pruitt of Paris, Arkansas; one daughter, Genelle Ruth and husband, John of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; two brothers, Glenn Jones and wife, Terri of Oxford, Ohio and Rocky Brooks and wife, Carla of Little Rock, Arkansas; one sister, Tonya Reed and husband, Kevin of Tucson, Arizona; two aunts, Janet Gray of Lexington, Kentucky and Rachel Brooks of Paris, Arkansas; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Pastor H.C. Varnadore and Pastor Larry Ranells.

Memorial service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Novalee was my best friend for almost 30 years. We were as close as any two friends could ever be. I'm blessed to have known her and honored to call her family. My heart goes out to her family. She will certainly be missed. I love you, Nova. Rest in peace.
