I was shocked to find Joyce’s obituary. I had idea she was so ill. Seems like forever that I have known her and Donald Ray We grew up together from grade school and beyond. She and my sister, Sonja, worked on the Miners Memorial. She will be greatly missed. Condolences to her daughters
May I express my deepest sympathy to Joyce's family. I met Joyce through the "If you grew up in Magazine, AR" Facebook page. We chatted several times via email spurred by the Friddle name which we have in common as well as Magazine and Booneville, AR connections.
I was so looking forward to meeting her in person this fall when I planned a family genealogy trip to Magazine. I would be very interested in any books she has printed as mentioned in the obituary.
I am sadden to hear this unexpected news and I will always be grateful for our brief but special opportunity to meet.
If any of the family members would like to contact me, please feel free to at donnaduerksen@gmail.com. May God bless you all during this very sad time.
