Virgil (Buddy) Moneymaker, age 86 of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at his home. He was born on December 16, 1934 in Brickeys, Arkansas to George S. and Myrtle Blackburn Moneymaker. Virgil served his country in the Army Reserve where he taught others to run heavy equipment and assisted in building bridges. He was a long-time former resident and general contractor in Helena-West Helena.

He was preceded in death by wife, Betty Jones Moneymaker; parents George and Myrtle Moneymaker; grandson Kody; brothers, Billy, Johnny and Bobby Moneymaker.
Virgil is survived by son, Charles (Annett) Moneymaker; daughter Marsha (Greg) Satterfield; grandchildren, Melissa, Scott and Jeff (Meaghan) Satterfield; brothers, Richard (Catherine) and Mike Moneymaker; sisters, Virginia Leverette, Shirley Morton and Nancy Moneymaker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas.
