Patricia Ann Morrison, age 79 of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, August 5th, 2021 at Ozark Health in Clinton, Arkansas. She was born in Belleville, Arkansas on April 14th, 1942 to Burl Oates and Lois Payne Oates.
Patricia attended the Leslie Assembly of God Church. She loved crafting, decorating, cooking and attending yard sales. Patricia was a strong woman with many titles; Mama, Nana, Caregiver, Department Store Clerk, Small Business Owner and Beautician. But her most cherished title was Nana.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Charlie Morrison of the home; children, Sherry Ragland (Mike) of Marshall, Michael Morse (Richard) of McKinney, Texas and Charla Rippeto (Tim) of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Zaac Ragland of Marshall, Sarah Blalock (Jake) of Redfield, Michael Morrison (Erika) of Conway, Dyanah Rippeto of Greenbrier and Aiden Rippeto of Greenbrier; great-grandchildren, Greg Simpson, Kaylee Simpson and Theodore Morrison; sisters, Virginia Pearce of Conway, Barbara Bell of Russellville, Paula Sue Fischer of Hamburg and Lynda Gillespie of Delaware; daughter-in-law, Jamie Ward (Steve) of Greenbrier; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Lois Oates; son, James Gregory Morrison; grandson, Coady Defoor; and siblings, James Oates, Dale Oates, Robert ''Buddy'' Oates and Melba Burlene Carter.
A Celebration of Life and visitation with family and friends will be 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM Saturday, August 7th, 2021 at her home, 442 Campbell Road, Leslie, Arkansas. A family graveside Celebration of Life Memorial and burial will be held at a later date at Havana Cemetery in Havana, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Havana Cemetery Fund in memory of Patricia Oates Morrison, PO Box 7, Havana, AR 72842 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
