Frank Owen Griffin, Jr., age 98, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was born May 23, 1923 in Cypert, Arkansas to the late Louise Mixon Griffin and Frank Griffin, Sr. He attended St. John's Episcopal Church and served in the United Stated Navy Reserve. He enjoyed farming, flying, hunting wild game turkey, duck hunting and playing card games.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ina LaWanda Lamb Griffin; son, Frank "Skipper" Griffin, III (Janet); two daughters, Ann Griffin and Michelle "Miki" Griffin Darling; two step daughters, Cindy Hodsdon (Geoff) and Deborah Lewis (Kyle); 10 grandchildren, Adam Griffin (Ashley), Josh Griffin (Cristen), Daniel Griffin (Mallory), Andrew Griffin (Brieanna), Lauren Curtis (John), Chauntel Polk, Leta Jordan (Cody), Audre Puckett (Nathan), Kara Hernandez (Jaime) and Casee Martinez (Ricardo); six step grandchildren, Deanna Cummings (David), LaCinda Stansbury (Mark), Stephanie Hampton (Brandon), David Klimek, Beaux Broach, and Kayln Rose; 24 great grandchildren; two sisters, Maureen Thomas and Frances Ourso; brother, Buron Griffin, Sr.; daughter in law, Sharon Griffin; a special caregiver, Nancy Hall; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Christine Wiekel Griffin; parents, Louise and Frank, Sr.; son, Michael Brooks Griffin; great grandchild, Lance Polk; step son, Steve Johnston; brother, Brooks Griffin; and sister, Ruth Marie Griffin.

There will not be a service for Mr. Frank Griffin, Jr. at this time.
