Death cannot kill what never dies. Every life is noted and is cherished, and nothing loved is ever lost or perished. The comfort of having a friend may be taken away but not that of having had one. Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.

Praying for the family she will truly be missed!

A piece of the earth became a little dimmer, and heaven became a little brighter as my friend, Sue changed her address.
That was Sue, a bright light always shining for the Lord. She never tried to be pretentious, facing life's challenges, she spoke faith and lived life by example.
God blessed me with her wonderful friendship for over thirty years. We shared life's experiences through these precious years and I have wonderful memories. Sue had a way to make every friend she had feel like her best friend. Through the years we have prayed together, laughed together and cried together. She was a strong woman of faith and one mother I know stayed on her face before God to keep, and protect her children! Her life was her family..
She had many talents, and shared them generously. She and I, use to go Christmas shopping once a year taking on the malls in Memphis. We would walk each store searching for the perfect present.. as I vividly remember a red leather jacket for one of her girls.. and we would walk until exhausted stopping for coffee and snacks, never making it home until way after midnight . We loved to go to thrift stores or flea markets looking for a hidden treasure, and Sue and I had the exact same taste, even favorite colors, so needless to say we always envied each other's new find. Her decoration skills , in my opinion were unprecedented! She was always my go to! She never missed an opportunity to take pictures, and was adamant about printing and framing her family. She was the most prophetic , anointed music minister , and intercessor that I know, though she never claimed that. She could be the most loving, nurturing woman , but also could raise her lioness voice of rebuke! ( I've recieved both! ) , as she held me accountable in my Christian walk. She lived holidays, and celebrated them all, decorating each one ( sometimes herself!). She was well aware of life, and the many blessings God gave her, never taking anything for granted.
Yes, Sue was a bright light. She was my dear friend and I was blessed with her in my life. I will miss her terribly... but I know she would want us all to realize the precious gift of life, family, friends and most importantly Jesus and live life to the fullest always pointing the way to Jesus.
Until we meet again my sweet friend.....

Dearest Roy and family; Sue was such a caring neighbor and was always busy in her yard even when she wasn't moving around well lately. She took such pride and joy in her lovely plants and could grow the most beautiful flowers ever. I always told her it didn't matter what she put in a pot it always grew like crazy! I so enjoyed the times we had sitting in my yard swing or under her carport just chatting with she and Roy. It was no surprise when she would come over and bring something that she had been given and share with me. I have blueberries today that she shared with me not too long ago. Neighborly love was a big part of her life and I will miss her for sure.
