Long time ago, we all knew Tommy was a good guy. And although I lost touch with him some through the years all the condolences show how he has lived his life.
My sympathy to all his family & friends. Praying for strength & comfort for the coming days & beyond.
Tommy was Pam's little brother in our Westside childhood. It was my privilege to later know him as an adult. Tom blessed my life in signs in 1982 upon my returning to Batesville to practice medicine, then as a brother-in-Jesus through the remainder of his life. I loved him & his sister, Pam. I didn't know Teresa or his children as well, but knew they were special & Believers. I grieve with his family's loss. I look forward to joining him with Christ, Our Lord.
Tom will be greatly missed! He always had a gentle spirit and I loved his love for Jesus! He gave me my first official job when I was old enough to get a job, although they were going through some business hardship, at the time. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed!
Thomas was such a nice, kind man. He worked on and made many signs for us, always perfect. Prayers for his family.
He will be missed.
Teresa and family, so sorry for your loss I always liked waiting onTommy when he came in the store .He was always so pleasant and smiling. God Bless you.
Tommy and I go back as far as I can remember, playing as kids, and going through school. Sadly we did not see each other much in later years, but by reading these posts I now realize what that "Special Glow" was that was always around Tommy. And where he got it. And I am Thrilled to read the legacy he left on the people he touched. God has another Angel today.
To the family, I Pray for you in this time of sorrow, though you know where he is right now " With that Special Glow". I Pray that God will touch you all and give you comfort in your time of need. Rest assured, he is grinning just as he always did.
God Bless!
Mike & Pam

Wish I could be there with you guys. I love you so much! Tom was a great guy, and you can definitely see that through his legacy. He fought a long and hard battle. He will be missed dearly. Hugs, and prayers for comfort to you all during this sorrowful time.
Tom was the first person to show me how to grow in my faith. He loved the Bible, was a wonderful teacher and had a way of inspiring others to dig deeper and truly put your life in God's hands and trust Him. Our family spent many hours together with Tom and his family in the past. We decided to go to the beach together one summer and Hurricane Danny ran us out of Destin. Tom wanted to stay and ride out the storm, but I chickened out and we decided to evacuate. We ended up in Birmingham, AL and made many (crazy) memories that we got much mileage and laughter in hearing Tom re-tell those stories. The stories became funnier as the years went by. We were with Tom & Teresa when we heard Bro. Adrian Rogers preach at Bellevue Baptist Church and we all got to meet him and shake his hand after the service. Tom's faith is now sight. He sees what all believers will one day see. I can only imagine the overwhelming joy as Tom hears "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord." Matthew 28:23
