Kathleen Hodge

of Judsonia, AR

February 9, 1938 - July 26, 2021

Kathleen Hodge age 83 was born, February 9, 1938 in Molton, AL. She passed away at her home on Monday, July 26, 2021 with her family at her side. She is now walking the golden streets of heaven with her beloved granddaughter Michelle. Kathleen was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy and continued to go even after she became wheelchair bound. She loved the Lord with all her heart.

She loved to sew and until her illness with dementia would sew for her whole family. She also had a really green thumb and could grow any flower that God made, and loved doing just that.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ader Childers, one brother, Freeman Childers, one sister Elizabeth Mills, and her only granddaughter, Michelle Duncan.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Stanley Hodge; her daughter Kathy (Michael) Duncan; two great grandsons, Matthew (Courtney) Duncan and Jake Duncan and her great-great grandson Mason Duncan along with many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

Kathleen married Stanley Hodge on November 25, 1953 and had 67 ½ years of a wonderful life together. You rarely saw one without the other because they did everything together.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery in Judsonia, Arkansas. Special Thanks to Hospice Home Care in Searcy to Alice and Rachel for their wonderful care in hers and our time of need.
