Robert "Bob" Wozniak

of Mountain Home, AR

July 11, 2021

Robert ''Bob'' Wozniak, 78, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Sunday July 11, 2021, in Mountain Home. He was born April 28, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois to Robert Henry Wozniak and Anne Theresa Gladun. He grew up in Chicago, graduated from Gordon Tech Catholic High School, then attended trade school where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering with certifications in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Bob met his wife Helen while working at St. Anthony's Hospital. They married at St. Casimir Catholic Church in 1964. They vacationed in Arkansas through the years and fell in love with the Natural State. On one drive back, they looked at each other and said, ''We love it. Let's do this!'' In 1972 they left Chicago to build a home and farm. As the years went by and family visited, he would take them to a hilltop, look out and say, ''God made this!'' He founded North Arkansas Service Company, which flourished through the years, supporting his family and community. He had a great love for restoring classic cars and cherished the relationships he formed through the car club. He treasured vacationing in Cancun with his family as well as trips to casinos and cruises with Helen. If you knew Bob, you know he was intentional, generous, hilarious, down to Earth, and always a kid at heart. He was a one-of-a-kind husband, dad and Jaja. He is greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his wife Helen of 57 years, daughter Patty (Chris) Byler, two sons Brian Wozniak and Dr. Adam Wozniak DO (Judith), and godson Patrick Oliver. His grandchildren Amanda, Samantha, Brooke, Bradley, Dakota, Zane, and Allistair. Bob is also survived by his two brothers Ed and Joe Jensen and several beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Dolores, and his son Robert ''Bobby'' Henry Wozniak.
Face masks are required to attend.
Prayer Vigil and Burial will be private.
A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
Bob loved to visit and donate to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
