Lloyd Lea, age 89, of Harrison, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, at Hillcrest Home. Lloyd was born January 4, 1932, in Spiro, Oklahoma to Grover L. and Leona (Smith) Lea.
Lloyd served in the United States Air Force for 23 years and four years in the Navy, While serving a distinguished military career he earned the Bronze Star with two Oak Leaf Clusters. He liked watching old movies on TV, such as Andy Griffith and Gunsmoke. He and Darlene loved to walk two or more miles every day.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Margie and Juanita; and his brothers, Olin Lea and JD Lea.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Darlene, of the home; his son, Dennis Lea; his daughter, Suzanne Bentley, and four grandchildren.
He will be missed by a whole host of friends and family.
Services will be at a later date.
I worked at Mount the short few weeks he was there, then I moved to Hillcrest and found out he was there, I spent the 2 weeks with him, I miss him dearly, I would go say Hi to him everyday, his face would light up every time he saw me. I couldn't help but have a kind heart and care for him, he was just a sweet joyful man. Your gonna be missed LloydðŸ˜ðŸ'"

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Lloyd was such a good person and so nice to be around at Hudspeth Motors and anytime we got to visit with him. We know he will be dearly missed. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
