Tommy,Joy,and family of Karen: I was so saddened to hear of Karen's passing. We know she has passed right into the arms of Jesus and her family and friends already in heaven, but that doesn't lessen the pain of the loss.
Thinking and praying for your comfort from the Lord.
May the good memories of Karen and the knowledge that we will see her again be with you in the times to come.

To the Family of Karen:

My deepest sympathies and prayers for comfort in this difficult passing.

As a friend of her boy Sam, I've gotten to become close to this great man. Although I didn't know Karen personally, I feel Sam got that "golden heart" from his mom that so many people admire.

I have read the messages and discovered that just about everyone remembers Karen the way I do from her Junior High days when I first met her. Even then, she was a joy to have in music class with her sweet smile and precious attitude. I am grateful for the Zion Lutheran Church's influence in her life, and for the knowledge that she's having no problems breathing today. May God bless Tommy and the other family members with peace and comfort in these difficult days.

Amy’s mom was a FUN mom! She had all these games & gadgets at the kitchen counter when we were kids. At the time, I remember thinking they were just neat little toys, but now that I’m a mom myself, I understand it was a way to distract us, to get us to sit down and talk. She was a beautiful, wonderful lady and the Cunningham house was an anchor of stability in my teenage years. God blessed her with many talents and she honored Him on this Earth by using them well. Although I can’t attend services for Miss Karen, (we’re out of state on an extended trip), I’m sending my love and prayers to her family and friends.

So heartbroken about this tragedy. This disease is ruthless and taking so many loved ones away from us. I cannot imagine the pain that you all are feeling. Karen was such a sweetheart and beautiful woman. God be with this family through this and the rest of your living days. Remember that she is with her God now and no longer suffering. But that thought will still not ease your current heartache. Prayers and guidance for you all..
