Carl was my employee and I loved working with him at Subway. He was so kind and friendly. We became friends outside of work and I always tried to help him whenever I could. I will forever miss him.

Man Carl was one of our best friends back in the day 😩😩 There wasn’t a time when he was around he’d put a smile on everyone’s face. He was goofy, and could definitely out drink just about anyone! He was a friend that no matter how corny or sappy a situation was he’d sit right there and listen to every word you had to say about it.❤️

Though I didn't know him well, Carl always had a smile on his face when he came into Dollar General and was always so respectful. He always found a way to make me laugh before he left. Many prayers for the family.

I didn't know Carl very long, but I got to work with him for a bit before shift ends some days. He was definitely outgoing and kind. He'd make us laugh and work seemed more fun. I want to send prayers to all his family. He was a great person. I am grateful to have met him.

Words will have little comfort when a loved one is lost and I am very sorry for your loss. I pray for peace and comfort for you and all of the family involved. I firmly believe in God and the bible says in Psalms 34.18 "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Like any farther, the father in heaven knows how your pain feels and now your son will live in eternal peace in heaven.

Our whole church feels a loss at Carl’s passing. He was always a joy to be with and had such an upbeat attitude. We admired his goal to go to college and hoped the best for him. We pray God will give the family peace and comfort during this time.
