I am so sorry about Myrtle. I have some great memories. I spent many days and nights at her house with Sherry. I know the past couple of years have been very difficult for Myrtle. She was so strong and endured tremendous heartache. But I know when her body left this earth she was met at the gates of heaven with a joyous reunion. I pray God surrounds you peace and comfort. She is walking the streets of gold! All my love

Karen, Rhonda and Holly,
I am so sorry to hear about Myrtle. I’m sorry I wasn’t there Sunday but I just found out about her passing last night. My heart breaks for all of you right now and I know Myrtle’s heart was broken after losing Sherry and Kenny both. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers for Peace, Comfort and Strength during this difficult time. Love all of you,
Gwen, Mark and Eva

I met Myrtle in the 60's when I worked with her at Citizens Federal Savings and Loan Assn. She was a kind Christian LADY then and I loved her. Rest in peace, my friend.

My mother Dianne Treece (Long) worked with Myrtle at the bank. Later on I worked there with them. She will be missed by many friends and family. She was such a caring, loving, and a hard worker.

May God be with you all and give you comfort, peace, and love.

God Bless!!

I met Ms. Myrtle when I started going to Herman. I was skeptical of going to a different church but it was close and my grown children and family went there. We sat behind her and Ms. Jean, as they always had. She and Ms. Jean were so loving and kind, they made me feel like I belonged there. If I missed a Sunday, they missed me. I soon learned she was like that to everyone. Everyone seemed to love her too. Yes, she had some hard last days losing her son and daughter but there’s no doubt she loved the Lord and everyone at Herman. Now when we all get to Heaven, she will be waiting with that sweet sweet smile and saying “I’ve been waiting on you to come.”

First of all I want to thank my mother and daddy who raise me in a beautiful environment of people like Miss Myrtle.
Not only was she just stunningly beautiful, she was a leader, a worker in our church, I can’t remember ever being in church when she wasn’t there. She was so kind and soft-spoken and genuinely interested in your life and you felt it when you talk to her. I know her Heavenly Father took her hand and said “well done my good and faithful servant “ She is home, and I will always carry her in my heart .
