Paul E. Shoppach of Benton, Arkansas, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Born September 14, 1934 to Sam & Effie Irl Storey Shoppach, Paul was a lifetime resident of Saline County. He retired from Alcoa where he was a powerhouse supervisor. He served our country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of East Smith Street Church of Christ. He served on the Saline Memorial Advisory Board, the Harmony Grove School Board, and the Haskell Optimist Club.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Wilma Mills Shoppach; his daughters, Renee (Morris) Huddleston, Deborah (Pat) Montanaro, Tami (Eddie) Nally, Gina (Alan) Cabe, and Stefni Shoppach; son, Jon Paul (Renee) Shoppach; grandchildren, Farra (Eric) Sheridan, Cayce (Lindie) Landers, Lauren Pfeifer, Mallory (Dakota) Hill, Tyler (Kristin) McLean, Dylan (Mary) McLean, Hayden McLean, Evan (Emily) Nally, Peyton Nally, Emily Shoppach, Alex Shoppach, Caleb Shoppach, Nathan Shoppach, and Delilah Shoppach and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 23 from 6 until 8 P.M. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, 306 S. Main, Benton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 24 from Roller-Ballard Funeral Home with interment following in Mt. Harmony Cemetery, Benton.
At the family's request, masks are not required but encouraged and if you are not vaccinated, the family requests that you please wear a mask.

Aunt Wilma and my cousins - I am so very sorry for y’all’s loss. I respected Uncle Paul so very much - he commanded respect by his demeanor and treatment of even us obnoxious numerous nephews and nieces. I suspect it will take a while before you no longer expect to see him walk through the door or answer the phone, but it will pass.
