Jackie Swindle, Sr., age 72, of Elaine, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at home surrounded by family. He was born March 1st, 1949 in Red Bay, Alabama to the late Katie Thornburg Swindle and Millard Swindle, Sr. Mr. Jackie served our country in the United States Army. He enjoyed farming for many years, doing taxidermy, coaching softball for over 30 years, hunting, fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane Swindle; son, Jackie Swindle, Jr. (Misty) of Elaine; daughter, Tammy Miller (Chris) of Elaine; six grandchildren, April Smith (Smitty), Taylor Hudman (Michael), Austin Miller, Kelsey Sanders (Blake), Kristen Smith and Kinley Swindle; two great grandchildren, Cyser Smith and Miller Hudman; one brother, Millard Swindle, Jr. (Sherry) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; half-sister, Inez Wilson of Elaine; a very special friend, Danny Pitts of Martin, Tennessee; a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Katie Swindle; two sisters, Eloise Snowden and Olean Roberts; and numerous other half brothers and sisters.

A funeral service for Mr. Jackie Swindle, Sr., will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will begin an hour before the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home as well. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Brother Luke Watson and Brother Dustin Logan will officiate.

Pallbearers are Terry Kemp, Jr., Scott Harold Williamson, Jimmy Newsom, Greg Faulkner, Edwin George, Andy Riddell, Mark Phillips and Mark Lumpkin.

Honorary pallbearers are Shelby Gene Snowden, Tim Snowden, Michael Snowden, Ricky Snowden, Elvin George, Jimmy Faulkner, Robert Pearrow, Daniel Pitts, Junior Guest, and members of the Earl Wells Hunting Club.
