Dorothy Marie Mikles was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on Sunday, July 18, 2021.
She was born to John and Irene Rom on November 22, 1934, in Paris, Arkansas. After graduating from Paris High School, she met and married the love of her life, James Paul Mikles in 1954. Together they had their son, John. She loved and cared for his brothers, Paul and Eric, as though they were her own.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by many loved ones including her husband, James Mikles; her son, John Mikles and wife, Deborah of Owasso, Oklahoma; son, Paul Mikles and wife, Robin of Missouri; son, Eric Mikles and wife, Amber of Magazine, Arkansas; twin brother, Paul Rom of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Some of Dorothy's fondest memories to share were those of her first grandchildren, Adrianne Ramsay and husband, Brian of Bryant, Arkansas and Caleb Mikles of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She could not have been more proud of her family.
Dorothy loved spending time in the kitchen cooking delicious meals for her family. She loved fiercely and always had kind words and hugs to share with everyone she met.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris, Arkansas.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Paint Rock Cemetery near Magazine with Pastor Kellie Kitson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Mikles, Eric Mikles, Levi Mikles, Paul Mikles, Kieth Cataran and Brian Ramsay.
Loved this lady, had the privilege to work with her at grapevine she was soo great to work with… soo sorry for your loss… Prayers for you guys….
