Marquita Ann Sturch Schneider

of Pangburn, AR

April 12, 1961 - July 16, 2021

Marquita Ann Sturch Schneider, 60 of Pangburn died on July 16, 2021 after a courageous thirteen year battle with kidney disease. Marquita was an elementary school teacher in the Pangburn School District for 28 years. She truly had a calling for children and would still be teaching if her health had not declined. Although she never had children of her own she really had thousands of ''her kids.'' Her students loved and respected her immensely.
She also had a passion for reading from the time she was a small child. Marquita was always thinking of others and loved her family and friends. She would often surprise people with gifts and tokens.
On December 16, 2009 she married her best friend David. They had eleven and a half wonderful years together taking many trips. They loved spending time together and when you saw one you saw the other.
Marquita was born April 12, 1961 in Searcy, Arkansas to Allen and LaDonna King Struch. She is preceded in death by her father Allen Sturch and her sister Tonia Stout.
Survivors include her husband David Schneider; mother LaDonna Sturch; sons Travis and Anthony Schneider; nephews Austin Hargrove and Carson Stout.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 22, 2021 at the Chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with service to begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.

How can I put into words what a wonderful person and teacher Marquita was. My mind goes back to the work trip we took together to Ferndale. Being with Marquita was always so much fun! She was a joy to be with. I loved and respected her so much. She will definitely be missed by many!

Marquita was such a wonderful person.. we grew up down the street from each other..I remember her coming down to visit Pauline and Everett and my mom and dad..her and dad loved to pick at each other..my dad was baptized when he was 80 years old the next week Marquita was there to give him a Bible with his name on it, I still have it..she was what every teacher hopes to be and her legacy will live on thru the countless students she taught and influenced for good..

I am at a loss of words to express how deeply my heart hurts for each of you. There simply are no words to describe how one feels when the unexpected happens and we are left without a loved one physically present with us.

My mind has been flooded with precious memories of how much Marquita loved every child she taught. She took a special interest in each and every one of them. She deeply loved her family and friends - ensuring that each of us knew just how she felt.

On this Earth, she was a beautiful and strong person. She was someone who set a great example for each of us to follow. I cannot imagine how gorgeous she must be in Heaven!

You were each very devoted to her and supported her through every challenge and celebration of her life. You blessed her richly.

Our love and prayers are sent and will remain for each of you.

David and Mrs. LaDonna - I don't even know how to tell you both how sorry I am for your loss!! Your Marquita was such a special person to so many, including the two of us! If ever a lady was called to be a teacher, she was!! I was blessed to work at the school with her for 11 years. She was firm and expected her students to mind her, but she loved each one of them, and they knew it! And, before the school year was out, they loved her back!! I don't begin to know how you feel, but I know God and He knows and cares how you hurt. So, we're praying for you both as well as Marquita's extended family.

David, I never had the pleasure of meeting you . However I know that if Marquita loved you you have to be very special. I’m so sorry for your loss. LaDonna, I’ve lost a child but not two and I can only compare your grief to my loss and I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. I loved both your daughters and treasure my memories of Marquita and I taking the younger 2 to a concert many years ago in LR. What a fun night we had and came out alive. If you need a shoulder to cry on or one to hit call me. Pangburn is still my home.

I am so sorry for your loss. Marquita will be missed. She was a great lady and a sweetheart. I wish I could have spent more time with her but when I did see her, she was a joy to br around. She is with Allen and Tonia now and her grandparents and she isn't sick anymore. RIP Marquita. We love you and will miss you.

Love,
Aunt Shirley
