Sorry to here of his passing. My husband Elmer, remembered when worked for the police department. God Bless the Family.
Paul was my boss in the mid-seventies at the MHPD and was one of the best men it was ever my privilege to be associated with. RIP jefe.
Dear Sherri,
We were so sorry to just be finding out about Paul’s passing. We’ll be keeping you in our prayers for the days ahead. I know he is terribly missed. Love you.
Paul and his family were our neighbors when I was growing up. He was a very kind man and was always a good family friend. He will be greatly missed. Sympathy to his family.
I had Paul in an English 101 class for members of law enforcement. He carried his concern for his officers into the classroom; he asked me to go easy on them because of their many duties for the community, their homes, and their families. When I explained I'd be doing them no favors, he was gracious and worked very hard, as hard as his men. Paul will be greatly missed.
Sherri you are one of the most sincere and kind-hearted people I have ever known. I know you will have many precious memories with Paul that will live on in you. Your role in his life undoubtedly added joy and so much love. Find peace and solace in knowing that you brought happiness into his life as you do all who are blessed enough to know you! I love you!
Sherri, you're a precious woman and I know Paul was blessed to have you. I've read wonderful things about him and know that he will be greatly missed. I'm praying for you and your family and I ask God to bring you peace during this very difficult time.
Paul was the Chief of Police when I came to Mountain Home as a rookie state trooper in 1985. I remember him welcoming me to Mountain Home and always making me feel at home at the police department. Good man, mentor and friend…
Sherri, so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family.

Only four words are needed to describe Paul. Dedicated. Inspiring. Caring. Knowledgeable. Your years of leadership at the Mountain Home Police Department has not been forgotten.

Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Love you Ms. Shelton!
We met Paul when we had the paper delivery route. We found out he did jewelry, too and became friends. Always a smile for us and that warm Paul affection. Sorry you are off the mortal toil, but home now. Well done, sir. Helen & Mickey
