I’ve known Bro Sonny all my life and all I’ve ever known has been good! He was such a blessing to our family. He loved fishing and knew we loved eating fresh fillet crappie and he supplied many fish fries for the Melton Family. His love and support to the New Life Family will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Sis Martha and the family. Such a great loss to us but Heaven’s gain❤️🙏🏻

I received word that Sonny had passed a couple days ago and began to remember Sonny from Safeway Warehouse and Harvest Foods. He always had a friendly smile for everyone. You just always knew that Sonny was a Christian and I know that he will be missed my his family and friends. To all the family, so sorry for your loss. Another friend from the Safeway/Harvest Foods family has passed but will not be forgotten. Go rest high on that mountain Sonny.

I don’t have a lot of childhood memories that don’t include Sonny and Martha in them. They were like family to us. Sonny was a very caring and hardworking man. My brother and I both looked up to him and had a lot of respect for him. I will cherish the memories we have of him and the whole family. We love all of you and hope that you will reach out to us for anything you need.
