Janie Elizabeth Taylor, 69, of Leachville, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at her home. She was born September 18, 1951 in Timbo, AR to William Jasper and Oma Elizabeth (Madden) Harris. She was of the Church of Christ belief. She loved gardening, crocheting and spoiling her grandchildren.

Janie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 45 years, Eddie Taylor; a brother, Lloyd Harris; a sister, Lois Dunn.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Janie include her son, Jeff Taylor; a daughter, Gerri (Mark Burns) Taylor; two grandchildren, Bailey Wilbanks and William "Billy" Ditto; two sisters, Marquella Harris and Martha Lowery; two sisters-in-law, Betty Harris and Regina Welch; and mother-in-law, Betty Taylor.

Chapel services will be 2 pm Wednesday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Eddie Dunigan officiating. Burial will follow at Macey Cemetery in Monette.

Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for you to consider the Children's Home, Inc, 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450.
