January 16, 1940 - July 9, 2021

Calvin Curtis Hensley, age 81, of Nixa, Missouri entered into rest Friday July 9, 2021 at his daughter's home in Nixa, Missouri surrounded by his family.

Calvin was born January 16, 1940 in Oden, Arkansas to the late Adren Isaac Hensley and Mary Violet (Brumley) Hensley.

He was very proud of the success of the band he co-founded and played rhythm guitar in called "Total Confusion." He took several college courses including Spanish and voice lessons. He was known in the Coachella Valley as the "King of Crash" for his many years spent entering and winning local destruction derby and rollover contests. He was his mother's biggest and proudest fan telling everyone that would listen all about her or sharing all about his grandchildren.

twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and many, many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; his wife Margaret (Landeryou) Hensley, and twin brothers Gary Lynn Hensley, and Larry Gwyn Hensley.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday July 17, 2021 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rick Pyron officiating.
