Mr. Joel Nelson, 77, of Clarkton, MO passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, in Jonesboro. Mr. Nelson was born July 23, 1943, in Parkin, AR to Alexander and Limmer Belle (Lumpkin) Nelson. He was a member of the Clarkton General Baptist Church and loved camping and taking care of his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Andy Nelson and five siblings.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of sixty years, Linda (Raney) Nelson; sons, Terry Nelson and Ted (Rachel) Nelson; grandchildren, Shane Nelson and Drake Nelson; brother, Don Nelson and sister Daphane Parson.
Graveside services will be held 11:30, Monday, July 12, 2021, at Shiloh Cemetery, Jonesboro, AR.
Visitation will precede services at 10:00 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro, AR.
