I had known Danny since the middle of 6th grade (back in the early 80s) He was one of the first few friends I made when I moved there from NC. We rode the same bus together and ended up being neighbors, on the mountain, and I would visit his Mom and himself quite often. Danny was a one of a kind person. RIP Danny =(
Thank you so very much, Herman, for your sweet remembrance of Dan. Thank you, also, for taking care of them when they needed groceries. One day we will reunite with Dan and Mom, and then we'll be cared for by Jesus, just as Dan is being cared for by Him now!
I am so sorry to hear of Danny' passing. Danny and his mother traded at the grocery story (OK Food Market) and Danny was always such a mannerly and nice young man. Sharon, thank you so much for helping Danny have such a good life after his mother passed away. He made so many new friends and enjoyed life so much. I am so glad, Sharon, you moved back to Johnson County. Danny's life would not have been the same without you. My niece (Kelsey Farris) knew Danny at MAC. I thought so much of him.

Danny and I were best friends growing up from elementary through our graduating together… as I moved around the country I never forgot my friend. The last time I visited Danny and his mom. It was short and sad. But I heard after his mother’s passing Danny was moved to a very go of d living arrangement and he grew so much and was quite happy. I loved hearing about him from another school mate who married into the family. I kept up as best I could and living through updates and was so glad to hear that he was living his very best life. Danny was and will always be my friend! I love him and will think of him often… god rest your sweet spirit… RIL my friend…
