of Benton, AR
December 24, 1939 - July 3, 2021
Allen B. Culver, 81 of Benton, passed to his Lord Saturday, July 3, 2021. He was born December 24, 1939 in Houston, Texas to the late Irma and Clinton Culver.
He will be missed but his memory will be cherished, and his legacy will continue through those who loved and cared for him. Allen was a Navy veteran and embodied the definition of a hard worker even through retirement after working as a carpenter; he loved working in his backyard shop and building everything to perfection. Also, possessing a vast knowledge of the railways, Allen was an avid railroad enthusiast and train collector. When he wasn't building in his shop or teaching someone about trains, Allen could be found at Longhills Golf Course where he loved to play golf with his friends.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marilyn Culver; daughter, Joan Ann Cooper; three sons, Vernon (Jackie), Jeff (Warilyn), and Robert Culver; sister, Nina Corbin; two brothers, Charles and Richard Culver; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be made at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to Benton Saline Memorial Hospice.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Allen. I fondly remember all the times he would come outside to play basketball or football with us boys! He was so patient and I just remember the love he had for all of us! He made me and Bruce feel like part of his family. He will certainly be missed!
