Howard Ray Gosa Sr. was born February 10, 1946 and passed away at his home on Sunday morning, July 4, 2021 in Olive Branch, Mississippi. He leaves his wife of 56 years Sharon Chastain Gosa. They raised four children, son Howard R. Gosa ''Scott'' (Tammy) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and three daughters, Cindy Gosa Pitts (Jerry) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Shelley Gosa of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Kimberly Gosa Coats (Kevin) of Olive Branch, Mississippi. He leaves nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Howard also leaves his sister Violet Haney of West Memphis, Arkansas.
Howard worked 22 years for Penske Trucking and T and B for 23 years. Howard was a long-distance commercial truck driver for 47 years until his retirement due to health reasons in at age 70 in 2016. He loved to fish and spending time with his family, cookouts and other family gatherings with his grandchildren and friends.
Mr. Gosa is preceded in death by his parents Eldridge Gosa and Nellie Gosa, two sisters, Shirley Fogarty and Vernon Ward both of Hardy, Arkansas as well as one brother, Eldridge Gosa ''Buddy'' of Olive Branch, Mississippi.

I am so sorrygor your loss. I will always remember Mr. Gosa's smile and laugh. I know where Shelley gets her sense of humor. I will not be able to come because of a doctor's appointment tomorrow. My prayers are with you all.
Sharon and family, I am deeply saddened by Howard's passing. We became friends in little league baseball. He was a great competitor and a class individual. I Pray that God will comfort you and the family as only He can through the difficult days ahead. love you,
