David Ellis Snyder, Sr., age 79, of Williford, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 2, 2021 at his home. He was born June 29, 1942 in West Helena, Arkansas to the late Jewel Clair Snyder and Ottis Snyder. Mr. Snyder served in the U.S. Army and National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Geneva Clements Snyder; son, David Snyder, Jr. and wife, Heather; three daughters, Genena Johnson and husband, Kenneth, Angela Bumbaugh and husband, Terry and Samantha Cannon; 11 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Bryon Snyder and wife, Janice; sister, Barbara Burch and husband, Don; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sandra Duncan.
A funeral service for Mr. David Ellis Snyder, Sr. will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Roller-Citizens chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., at the chapel as well. Burial to follow to Barbee Cemetery in Lula, Mississippi. Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.
Pallbearers are Claude Clements, Josey Snyder, Jimmy Cannon, Rusty Shaw, Kirk Fraize and Doug Manning.

Dad, I was there beside you till your last breath, I am so glad that we got to talk to each other and Express they way we feel!! You wanted me to be there and to take care of mom after you were gone.
