Jess, I just heard of your sweet Mama passing away. She was one of my favorite teachers who was always encouraging me to follow my love for nursing. She even wrote a letter of recommendation for me. I’m so glad she was my friend even after I graduated. Her smile was warm and genuine (you have the same smile). I knew your mom my whole life. She was one of the the most genuinely kind people I’ve ever known. As everyone else has stated, such a beautiful lady inside and out. She was one of the few people my mom loved talking to while at Brookdale. Luke, I’ll miss bumping into you in the hall and driveway. You & Jess were so good to come and visit.

She helped me get my first job when a local business called the school wanting to hire a girl who could “type FAST.”
