Jess, I just heard of your sweet Mama passing away. She was one of my favorite teachers who was always encouraging me to follow my love for nursing. She even wrote a letter of recommendation for me. I’m so glad she was my friend even after I graduated. Her smile was warm and genuine (you have the same smile). I always knew when we talked it was because she cared and wanted to know how I was doing. I’m sorry I didn’t know she was ill. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sandra Woodard White.

Mrs. Setzler was that once in a lifetime teacher that made a difference in my life. More of life’s lessons were learned from her than just in her typing and business classes. She has never been forgotten and never will be. Prayers of comfort for her family.

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Setzler’s family. I grew up knowing her through my Grandmother’s Sunday school class. She also was one of my teachers at Conway High. She taught me how to type and was always so patient and kind when instructing me and helping me. May God comfort your family through this time. It’s not goodbye but see you soon.

I knew your mom my whole life. She was one of the the most genuinely kind people I’ve ever known. As everyone else has stated, such a beautiful lady inside and out. She was one of the few people my mom loved talking to while at Brookdale. Luke, I’ll miss bumping into you in the hall and driveway. You & Jess were so good to come and visit.
Prayers sent for your family during your time of grief. She will be missed, but heaven is gaining a treasure.

Mrs. Setzler was one of my very favorite teachers. Matt and I both had her for advanced typing, and I later took business machines under her. She favored Matt because he was a rare male student. She helped me get my first job when a local business called the school wanting to hire a girl who could “type FAST.”

My Dad volunteered at Conway Regional with Mona Lou and enjoyed visiting with her there.

Jess and Luke, you are to be commended on faithfully and joyfully taking care of her and Lucian.

Luke and family, Mrs. Setzler was one of my favorite teachers, and I am sure I was her favorite student! 😊(at least she made me feel that way).
She found out I didn’t know how to type in my senior year during a business machines class and then went to work on me until I could. I’m so thankful for her and you guys and the great influence she’s had on us all. My typing skills have never been better! Hugs to you all.
