Betty Poff Cartwright, 91, of Mountain View, died July 2, 2021. She was born November 14, 1929, in Bickles Cove, to Houston and Olive Poff.

Betty married Wesley Cartwright March 19, 1949. They were blessed with two sons, Sonny and Dennis, and one daughter, Debbie. She was a wonderful wife, mother, Meme, sister and friend. She was also an amazing cook and homemaker!

Betty and Wesley were active members of the Methodist Church for years. She also enjoyed her time in Eastern Star. Family reunions were always very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley; parents, Houston and Olive Poff; two sisters, Mavis Kemp and Clovis Hankwitz; and three brothers, Bryce, Jack and Herbert Poff.

Betty is survived by her children, Sonny (Debbie) Cartwright of Camden, Debbie (Rick) Billings of Russellville, and Dennis (Rita) Cartwright of Fifty Six; 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Iva Nell (Junior) Risner of Mountain View; six sisters-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews. They will all miss her terribly.
