Emma Jean was a strong lady with a heart of gold. I remember well my daughter playing together with Jennifer and Petey while my mother-in-law took care of them during the summer. Emma is now in Jesus' arms and reunited with her loves Marvin and Petey. God bless her family.

Oh, how I’ll always remember her chicken and dumplings, her letting me spend the night, and her caring for me. Emmagene, as my mamaw called her would take care of us kids in Bassett, Arkansas where we shelled peas and ate from the mulberry tree! Precious memories! She had a heart of gold!
