Barbara A. Herrington, 80, of Prim, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Barbara was born on October 27, 1940 in Holcomb, Missouri to the late Hogan and Junie (Tiner) Thatcher. Barbara was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and worked for many years as a cook on a riverboat. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her two sons, Casey Herrington and Mark Herrington and wife Lisa Herrington both of Prim, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Jonathan Herrington, Kari Brewer and husband Dustin, Patricia Herrington, and Autumne Burns; two great-grandchildren, Hyden Brewer and Emberly Brewer; sisters, Shirley Stephens of Pampa, Texas and Eulene Davis of Star City, Arkansas as well as many extended family and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Hogan and Junie (Tiner) Thatcher; four brothers, Harold Thatcher, Buddy Thatcher, Alton Thatcher, and DeWitt Thatcher; three sisters, Norma Wilson, Dorothy Larkins, and Virginia Hopgood.
Visitation is Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 1:00 PM with Brother (TBD) officiating. Interment will follow the service at East Richwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Casey Herrington, Mark Herrington, Jonathan Herrington, Dustin Brewer, Danny Galloway, and Kirk Fossler. Honorary pallbearers are Rhonda Martin, Lisa Herrington, Kari Brewer, Patricia Herrington, Autumne Burns, and Kelli Martin.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
