Morris Eugene ''Gene'' Foster, 73, of Ratcliff, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 surrounded by his family.
He was a retired business owner of Foster Enterprises, a Arkansas National Guard Veteran and a 32nd Degree Mason. He loved fishing, spending time with his family, and had such a love and passion for golf that he built his own golf course. He was born on March 31, 1948 in Scranton, Arkansas to his later parents, Walter Foster and Emma Francis (Hamilton) McBride. He was a kind and caring person who was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Survivors include his son, Steve Wooten and wife Candy of Paris; his daughter, Tina Garcia and husband Alex of Ratcliff; his beloved sister and caretaker, Wanda Young of Ratcliff; his brother, Charlie Foster of Barling; four beautiful grandchildren, Grant, Chloe, Adrian and Ashley; his nieces, Cindy and Michelle and his nephew, Justin.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial to follow in Ellsworth Cemetery near Subiaco under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Sam McAllister, Alex Garcia, Chuck Parsons, Bill Kennedy, Grant Johnson and Greg Bigham.
