Dora Beth Lewis

of Clinton, AR

December 11, 1946 - June 21, 2021

Dora Beth Lewis, 74, of Clinton, Arkansas went to her heavenly home Monday, June 21, 2021. She was born December 11, 1946 to David Earl and Lillie Mae (Sorrells) Stapleton in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by both parents, one son, William Dale Lewis and partner in life, J.C. Dirlam.

Dora loved her family, turtles and life, even when life was hard, she never gave up. She never knew what a stranger was and always had a kind word, a smile and sound advice. You always knew where you stood with Dora and if you didn't, you weren't listening. The following verse sums up Dora's life:
2nd Timothy 4:7 ''I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.

Left to cherish her memory are sons; John Lewis, Caleb Lewis, grandchildren; Allisyn Lorey, Brittany Lewis, great-grandchildren; Zayne and Vivian, other family members and a host of loving friends and extended family.

At Dora's request, there are no services scheduled.

Words fail to express what the above has already expressed. You never met a stranger and always had a kind word...mercy, that smile and laugh I will miss. I always felt welcome and at home visiting you. Always a loving hug and open heart when I brought my family over. Your face is what I remember most, giving me strength to get through my eulogy for Dale when it should have been me granting you a smile or shoulder in comfort. Humble to the end. May we all take the most from the lessons you taught us. Family and friends - condolences on your extreme loss.

Oh this makes me sad. I know Dora was terribly ill and she was such a trooper. She would post when she was in misery but always with a touch of humor. Love flowed from this woman like a fountain and I am grateful that I knew her. She blessed my life. I know she is looking for a auction now and free from the pain of life.
