My deepest condolences to the family. Don was amazing in many ways. I was truly impressed by his humility and friendliness. After college I happened to see him at a reception and enjoyed a short chat with this wonderful person.

Dear Don,
I was lucky to have had you in my life. We were in college together when we met. We met through our mutual love for music. I always enjoyed your love for music. Your voice carried out into every room with no michrophone needed. Your piano ability and voice capabilities were enjoyed and way above average.
I am sorry I never got back to see you, but have thought about you many, many times. I will remember you and your talents fondly. I remember meeting your wife and tales about your son, Joey.
I hope you are enjoying your blessings in heaven and know you are happy there. No more suffering ( thank goodness). Please tell my family hello and I love them. Hope to meet you again in heaven, and maybe then we can sing a praising duet together. I plan to use the beautiful rosary you once gave me as a Christmas
Present at my wedding... it has always been very special gift I cherish. I loved your devotion to God and rosary. I will think of you on that day and continue to use it as a kind remembarance of your friendship and memory.
God bless you, and I say goodbye until the next time I see you praising God with rosary in hand in heaven.
Farewell, my friend...
Elizabeth

Don was a man who loved the Lord and his family, and was ever prayerful for others daily. Grateful and honored to have known Don and been a part of his life for many years. Don was a musical prodigy and enjoyed sharing with me his stories of playing for many venues across the country. I shall always remember him singing my favorite, "Summertime" by Porgy and Bess. Honored also to have prayed and to have sung "Amazing Grace" at his bedside in the days before his passing. I love you Don Harrison and know you are playing for the Lord and His angels now in your heavenly home!
