Jean Elaine Hale, age 95, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at home and attended by her daughter Nella Brewer and son-in-law Ed Brewer. She was born April 9, 1926, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Mable Lucille (Kelso) Belfort and Eugene Joseph Belfort. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hale and her parents.

She is survived by one son, Frank E. Hale, and wife Darlene; two daughters, Donna LaRue and husband Russell and Nella Brewer and husband Ed; five grandchildren, Jacob Brewer, Shelly Thompson, Sammie Christian, Leia Vick, and Aspen Hale; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Dehrabelle Lyde and one brother, Louis Belfort.

Jean and Frank were married on June 23, 1945, and together set an outstanding example for all that knew them. Jean was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1956. She had a love for the Bible and Bible study and teaching others the truths found in God's holy scriptures. Jean was well known for her love and generosity. Jean's qualities are an encouragement to all that knew her to continue the course and be there to welcome her back when the memorial tombs are emptied forever.


A memorial service is Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. Memorial speaker will be Brother Joe Sain.

I will always have fond memories of her. Her bright, cheerful smile brought a lot of warmth to everyone.
My mother said she gave the best compliments, not flippant but very genuine and well-thought-out. Cannot wait to see her again.
