Charles Robert Harman, age 60 of Overland Park, Kansas passed from this life on Saturday, June 5th, 2021, while on a floating trip with his son, on the Buffalo National River in Searcy County, Arkansas. He was born in Elmhurst, IL on September 19th, 1960 to parents, John and Constance Harman.
Charles was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Charles loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. "Grandpa Chuck" always had candy ready for every visit. He loved to make people laugh and made every social event a fun party. Charles spent his days watching his grandchildren and joining his family in grilling food and having fun. He loved watching NASCAR, hockey, football, and baseball. He was always his silly, genuine self and created a positive atmosphere wherever he went. Charles would always visit his family in the Chicago area and bring back Jays barbecue chips to his family in Kansas.
Survivors include his two children, Cory (Nicole) of Edgerton, Kansas and Emily (Stephen) of Overland Park, Kansas; his grandchildren, Chase (18 months), Carson (7 years), Cameron (7 years), Maliah (11 years), and Skyler (15 years); his siblings Pamela Lamb, Christine (the late Patrick) Murray, Lucinda (Steven) Chadwick, Jacqueline Kaspari, Susan (Alan) Diomedes, Janice (Floyd) Cox, John Harman, Julie Patka, Thomas Harman, Paula (Robert) Braunshausen; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Charles is preceded in death by: John (Rosanne) Harman and Constance Harman.
The Celebration of Life/Memorial will be held at a later time.

Obviously a wonderful father and loving Grandpa who will be missed. Cherish the happy memories that are part of his legacy to friends and family
