Janie Bachmann, 95 of Lamar, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in Clarksville. She was born on April 16, 1926, in Wichita, Texas to her parents Henry and Alvena Fuhrmann. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, weaving, crocheting, and knitting. Janie was one of the founding members of the Johnson County Quilters Guild.
She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Alvena Fuhrmann, her husband Pete Bachmann, JR, one son Stephen Lewis Bachmann, great granddaughter Lynzee Bachmann, four brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by one son Larry Bachmann of Lamar; grandson Peter Bachmann of Lamar; one great grandson Lucas Bachmann of Goose Camp, one sister Verna Martin of Harrison, and a host of other family and friends.
Private family graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 07, 2021, at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas.

I’ve known Jane since the early 90’s through the quilt guild. I’ve enjoyed her friendship and I appreciate the quilting things she’s taught me. She will be missed.
