Ronald Weaver

of Toad Suck, AR

December 8, 1956 - May 30, 2021

Ronald P ''Ronnie'' Weaver, 64, of Toadsuck, AR, went to his heavenly home on May 30, 2021.

Ronnie was born in Hayti, MO, on December 8, 1956, to Hobert Jesse and Mary Keahey Weaver.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 39 years Becky Weaver; his children Melissa (Chris) Johnson of Greenbrier, Greg (Heather) Oaks of Wooster, Destin (Carolyn) Weaver of Conway and Katie (Nick) Begley of Conway; his grandchildren, Kristen Meeks, Dowe Kadrmas, Makayla Johnson, Makenzie Johnson, Grace Oaks, Lily Oaks, Chase McConnell, Madison Stephenson, Destiny Weaver, Ronald Weaver, Cash Weaver, Grant Begley, Grahl Begley and Erin McMillan; his great-grandchildren, Charlotte Meeks, Henry Meeks, Jayden Stephenson, Cadence McConnell, Porter McConnell, Cayde McConnell; his brother, Jerry Weaver of Vancouver, WA; his sisters, Barbara Mobley of Vilonia, Carol Weaver-Burns of Conway and Sheila Mauldin of Vilonia; his devoted nephews and nieces; his truck riding dog, Moose, and his coffee drinking cat, Ombrea.

At a very young age, Ronnie
discovered his love of the outdoors, always playing in the dirt, riding his bicycle and riding his horse, Wiggles.

Ronnie found his faith in the Lord as a young teenager and was saved during bible school at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vilonia. He was baptized at First Baptist Church of Vilonia.

His teenage years were spent outdoors on dirt bikes and motorcycles. He also enjoyed working on cars, trucks or anything with wheels. He attended Vilonia High School where he played baseball and football, was well liked and affectionately known as ''Red Weaver''.

In 1982, a mutual friend Cindy Crowder introduced him to Becky Wear, the love of his life. Becky had two children, Melissa and Greg. After meeting the children, Melissa told her momma, ''We are marrying him!'' And so they did. Six weeks later, they were married in Sherwood, AR, and the four of them celebrated their honeymoon in Disney World. His love for them was instant, and they were spoiled with that love from then on. In 1983, a handsome red-headed Destin Paul arrived and then in 1987, a beautiful, spunky red-headed girl, Katie, followed. Ronnie was so proud of his children. Anyone who knew him could see the deep love and admiration he had for them from the first day, every day. He loved to take his children snow skiing and rodeoing.

Ronnie founded Weaver & Son Excavation & Concrete, built upon his outstanding work ethic and his motto ''Never Give Up''. He took so much pride in passing his mechanical, excavation and concrete skills on to Destin and working with him for many years. The extreme pride he had for his work and doing the best on every job lives on through Destin and that business.
Anyone who worked with Ronnie knew what a fair and honest man he was.

Ronnie had an unfaltering love for his family. His dedication to being a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa and friend was apparent to anyone who knew him. Ronnie is remembered as being the sweetest daddy, and the most wonderful grandpa. He loved to take his grandkids to shoot guns, go fishing, ride go-carts and go snow skiing.

Ronnie's kind heart was unlike any other, his spirit contagious and unforgettable. Ronnie will be most remembered for being a family man, for his kindness, his loving heart and his infectious personality. His smile, his disposition, his warmth. His sweet memory will live on through all those who loved him. Anyone who knew Ronnie is richer for having done so.

Ronnie and Becky had a special love that carried them through the years, years filled with rough patches and smooth sails, but their love for each other buoyed them through any storm. What beautiful years they have been, though not nearly enough years for those who loved him. The world seems darker without Ronnie here with us, but he lives on through his loving family and friends, his precious memory a light that never dims.

Visitation will be Friday, June 11, 2021, in the chapel at Roller-McNutt in Conway from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 12, at 2 p.m.
There will be a celebration of his life following the service at 29 Ferry Boat Road in Toadsuck to which everyone is invited.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that you consider donating to Sons of the Flag in honor of his grandson, Ronald Paul Weaver II, at 12700 Park Central Drive, Suite 304, Dallas, TX 75251 or https://sonsoftheflag.org.

Ronnie was truly a great husband, father and grandpa. He may have been the hardest working man in Conway and was a staple of new home construction in and around Faulkner county. He had a heart of gold and was honest without exception.

We love this family and are saddened by this loss. Our prayers are with you all.

I got to know Ronnie when we were both young. He would call in for a burn permit and I would go out and issue the permit. We got a chance to visit and he was always smiling, and appreciative. Ronnie worked more and harder then most folks. He had built a successful business on trust, hard work and keeping his word. When we built a home Ronnie did the foundation and concrete work. He then let me use his equipment free of charge to work on the plumbing and the yard. He passed his work ethic to Destin who is successful as a contractor as well. Ronnie was a good man.
